I loved this console when it was still in existence. I have always said, GameCube was the only console that did video games based off movies and T.V. shows right. I think SpongeBob battle for bikini bottom was my favorite, and they did some great spinoff games like Shadow the hedgehog. Super smash bros melee was such a memorable game. Even Madagascar was an awesome game. I wish movie video games now were like they were on the GameCube. I wish this console was still around, it was so great.

This machine is the second most powerful of its generation, and had some of the most visually impressive games of the time. Unlike PS2, many of them still hold up. If only Nintendo didn't make poor design and marketing decisions. I didn't give this machine much credit at the time, but looking back it was the best system of it era. Since the powerful Xbox's best games have been released on PC or had better sequals on 360. Games like Mario Kart, Metriod Prime, Wind Waker, RE4, and Twilight Princess make it a system I will still play. The Cube was the last Nintendo console I bought, and at time it just didn't get steady releases to keep me playing. Looking back it was probably on par with Xbox and much better than PS2, and I still enjoy it. Sad I didn't give it any credit at the time.

Definitely the best Nintendo console. I have one at my house, and I like it much better than my Wii and my Wii U (but not as much as my Xbox 1 S). Not many people that I know even know what this game console is, but they should. The remotes are much better than the remotes for any other Nintendo game console, and the Gamecube has some of the best Nintendo games (Mario Party 4, Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Smash Bros Melee, and many others). - MrSnuffleupagus

Great console? Yes. Underrated? Absolutely not. It was underrated back in 2003 but now I see nothing but praise for it to the point where people call it the best console ever made and that's going a little to far. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Gamecube but it's becoming a little too overrated nowadays. The Vita is much more underrated. Go ahead and downrate me but this is just my opinion.

My brother got one when they were new and we've kept it and loved it ever since. It had some truly fantastic games (Mario Kart: Double Dash!, Luigi's Mansion, Super Mario Sunshine, Wario World, the list goes on).
