I love a little more infernal devices than mortal instruments, I think it's because the story takes place in 1878 and it's very old-fashioned and I fall in love with the characters like Will and Jem and I like that women fight and don't scream and get paralyzed like stupid mummies like Bella Swan. I highly recommend this book

It's far better than The Mortal Instruments and it portrays a much stronger main character - Tessa - compared to Clary. Tessa ran straight into a fight while wearing her wedding dress, dammit, that alone is awesome enough.
