I only like a few rap songs. Other than that, I don't understand the appeal for this music genre at all. Sure there are some talented rappers out there but the bad rappers outweigh the good ones and some of the lyrics are disgusting. I especially hate modern rap music because of the awful production, the terribly written lyrics and it either tends to be mumbling garbage or just plain obnoxious rapping with disgusting lyrics, terrible vocals and nasty music videos. - UltraLunalaX

I feel like the concept of rapping is just plain aggressive and I dont really see the point of verbalizing words promptly to the extent that you cant even understand it sometimes. Also, I feel like whomever invented rapping was just reciting random words quickly and realized that hey this could become a form of music!

I cannot stand the "genre" and have received a lot of hate for disliking and criticising it. Including on this site. But more so when I reference someone popular in the genre, like Eminem or 50 Cent, neither of which I appreciate.
