I understand that some people may be like: Kirby isn't that powerful, look at how he can be damaged by these weak enemies!But remember.This is a game.Who'd play a game that you don't need to do anything in? Kirby possesses the power to hit a meteor, strong enough to destroy his planet, into space. Not only that, he sent it at 9999 light years in a very short period of time, not to mention through several planets. Kirby can travel at the speed of light, way faster than sonic (besides when sonic is in his hyper nova form) and can crack entire planets in half with a single punch. He has survived a moon-sized and planet-sized explosion without a scratch. He has taken down several godlike evil entitys (like Marx) and in one of his games he is described as having infinite power. I have not played many of the games with characters on this list, but I stand by what I say, Kirby is the most powerful character in gaming that I know of.

Honestly kirby is powerful indeed, but #2?!, ? Seems pretty biased to me. As proven (ssbb) kirby doesn't automatically destroy everything he sucks up, as players of super smash can resist and break out. He can only automatically consume extremely small and weak opponents like waddle doo or waddle dee etc. Hell he can't even absorb mini bosses like bugsy or that hammer guy ( etc, ) and its not just because of size or weight: kirby can't suck up meta knight either. Why? Because meta knight is powerful enough to resist. Just about everyone on this list is as powerful or stronger then meta knight so ( although possible) it would be quite difficult to absorb anyone on this list. Aside from that, kirby most likely wouldn't be able to copy anyone's ability as to do so he must swallow them. Characters with high power levels would break free before so ( like Goku, sonic, dante, shadow etc: just to name a few. In the anime he devoured all of reality/universe by accident. In the games he never really dies, just gets mentally exhausted and goes to sleep. With his warpstar Kirby can travel at many thousands of times faster than light. Keep in mind, at 200 Years Old Kirby is basically in a pre-fetal stage of existence. Kirby is basically a pre-fetal stage "One Above All" or "Abrahamic God". Consider that inside Kirby exists another realm of reality, a place ripe for the birth of another universe for Kirby to be the Prime Creator of one.
