Any Percy Jackson series in the top ten fantasy book series is only due to bastard children voting stupidly. What about the Kingkiller Chronilce, the Malazan series, just to name a few. I think ASOIAf should be first or second, followed by LOTR, then Harry Potter, then the other ones I mentioned. There are a plethora of series out there that top anything written by Rick Riordan easily.

Great series, but Martin needs to stop working on other projects and get back to his biggest money maker. His fans are getting very irritated as the next book is long overdue. Also, in my opinion Erikson's Malazan series is better and finished!
