Finch is a person that lives inside all of us a little. His energy, strength, humor and all of his darkness is something everyone can relate to. His humor and vulnerability makes us love him and his realness breaks our hearts. Theodore Finch is hands down my favorite literary character of all time. All the bright places makes me with he was a real person and is a character that sticks with me long after I finished the book.

Theodore Finch was easily one of my first book crushes, he is quirky and is adventurous and not only does he seem carefree (at least in the beginning of the book) he was also able to bring out the best in other people. The way he is able to share his insights on life with readers is captured so perfectly that he draws readers in even more. Definitely one of my favorite YA characters for sure.
