Hero factory was pretty bland with the 1.0sIt got much better with the 2.0s, really distinguished itself from bionicle. All the new villains looked really great, even fire lord looked somewhat oaky.3.0 wasn't quite as innovative, but it showed how all the new sets didn't have to be humanoid, and was a neat concept. Plus we got gold pieces.Although breakout wasnt really bad, it wasnt fantastic either. At least there was variation among the heroes now, and more colored pieces and villains.But by the time brain attack came out, they had really run out of ideas.

After the Bionicle ended, Lego almost immediately sprung out Hero Factory. At first, it wasn't bad, as it still used Bionicle elements, but once they sprouted the second season, things got retarded. Now the the few pieces just snap together, and even the bigger sets aren't as fun and challenging as the Bionicle sets. Oh, and it got worse after Season 4...
