It wasn't the exact portrayal I wanted to see in bringing Wolverine from the comics to the big screen...but it was damn close. Would of loved to see a Weapon X movie faithfully loyal to the Barry Windsor Smith classic. That would of been a great start with this movie being the perfect end. Anyhow how can anyone not see this movie (wolverine fan or not) and not be touched? Its gritty realism, with a standout performance from Hugh Jackman (oscar worthy really) to the somber feel that accentuates Wolverine perfectly. It underlines really that Wolverine, despite all his will, heart and determination to do what is right that ultimately he is doomed by his very nature. Logan wasn't just a great superhero movie it was a great movie period.

An epic conclusion to Jackman's 17 year run as the Wolverine. Couldn't have been any better. Charles thought he was killed by Logan which makes his death all the more tragic. And the ending... I will never forget the moment when Hugh Jackman closed his eyes. No film ever left a mark on me as significant as this one. It is not just mindless slashing and cutting - the R-rated violence actually makes sense and is an integral part of the film. One of the greatest pros of this film is the portrayal of Logan's relationship with Laura. If any film can knock Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Dark to the 2nd position, it's LOGAN. Goodbye Wolverine!

Should be #2, only equaled by The Dark Knight. Logan is a beautiful, sombre, touching, brutal, dark and tragic film, one that truly redefines superhero movies. In fact, it bares little resemblance to most of the genre, and though there are plenty of gritty, thrilling action sequences scattered throughout, the film feels more like sombre, touching drama with bursts of explosive action in between. The dynamics between Logan, his daughter Laura and Charles are compelling and extremely well-defined, with a variety of touching character moments bolstered by a script with lots of emotional substance. The film also explores themes such as mortality, regret, death, fatherhood, responsibility, love and hope, which are uncommon in many superhero pictures. Most superhero films of the recent years are nothing but mindless action mixed with story. With Logan, we had a film that not only had amazing action, but a very poignant narrative. Hugh Jackman adopted the role of Wolverine in the first three X-Men movies, struggled to make it his own in Origins, finally started becoming his character in The Wolverine, but in Logan, he WAS the Wolverine. Not many movies get me coming back for more, but I can say, without a doubt, Logan is a film I will watch forever.

Saw this film in the cinema... and I loved it. It isn't without it's flaws, but it's different. This movie isn't about the END OF THE WORLD like The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, it's FAR more personal. Should 100% be #2 or #3. It is better than The Dark Knight Rises. It is really dark, tragic, sad, brutal, and great. It deals with many things and has a great ending, for Wolverine. It is great, that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and X-men movie carrier ended on a great note.

I just think this is the only Film that is completely character driven. The performance by Jackman is possibly the best of any superhero ever, and the gore that comes with the adult rating simply elevates an already brutal look at life. The idea that even superhero's get old help elevate this film to heights nothing has ever reached before

Very gritty, violent, emotional, heartfelt movie. It separates itself from the flood of formula based superhero movies that are so popular today. This is a movie that you will REMEMBER. Perfect sendoff for Hugh Jackman after 17 years as wolverine. In my opinion, this is the best superhero movie ever

I've seen this twice in theatres now, and I can conclude that it is by far the best Marvel movie, and definitely somewhere in my top 3 favorite superhero movies ever. I know what would go in my top 3, but I don't know where in my top 3 they would go. They are The Dark Knight, Logan, and The Incredibles
