TDK is the best superhero movie, and it's not very close. Not only was this the best superhero of all time, but it's one of the best movies of all time in general (ex: being one of 5 movies on IMDb to hold a 9.0+ rating). The acting was phenomenal, the best cast I've seen at least, Heath Ledger's Joker is the best villain performance of this generation (Won an oscar to prove it), and Aaron Eckhart's fantastic performance of Two-Face was mostly under-shadowed by Ledger's perfection, and ya can't forget Bale as Batman who nailed it again, as well as Gary Oldman as Gordon and Michael Cain as Alfred. The plot and writing was near perfection, with virtually no plot holes if any at all. I don't believe there'll be a superhero movie that will ever top this one. Well done Mr. Nolan, very well-done.

Its all just madness and there is no inherent absolute morality.

Christopher Nolan made a fantastic crime thriller about the hypocrisy of law enforcement and the true meaning of justice, that's also a kick-ass action movie where where a guy in a bat costume punches people and a clown blows up a hospital. Every single event in this movie has a deeper meaning, but watching this film at face value it still super entertaining.RIP Heath Ledger, best Joker

An amazing movie, a great story, a superb cast and the Oscar for Heath is icing on the cake. The fact that the hero and the primary villain do not have any actual superpowers doesn't even matter as we watch their battle for control of Gotham rage on for a captivating 2 1/2 hours. The Joker is finally defeated in the end but the hero pays a stiff price in order to protect his city.

So, I'm more of a Marvel fan, but, I've got to admit, Christopher Nolan made the best superhero movie to date. Spider-Man 2 and The Avengers were also great, but they can't compete with The Dark Knight, mainly because they didn't have Christopher Nolan directing and didn't have Heath Ledger as the main villain (may he R.I.P.).Honestly, the only Marvel movie that's just as great as this masterpiece is Logan, but that's just my opinion.

I am a Marvel fanboy but The Dark Knight will always be the greatest, most epic and most haunting of all superhero movies. Truly mind-blowing. Kudos to Christopher Nolan, Christian Bale, Heath Ledger and a flawless cast and crew for crafting the finest of all superhero movies and also, one of the greatest movies ever made.

No not in a million years, this movie sucks serious ass, it is the worst superhero movie of all time, that's right even batman and robin is better then this piece of crap, whats so special about this movie? Its long dull and boring, and I don't care what you fanboys are gonna say, the avengers should be in the number 1 spot cause it's the best
