I don't man, I don't need to explain why this is better than the newer Eminem albums, but I will explain why it's better than the other major older Eminem albums. I think it's better than the SSLP because I personally like the more serious tone, although both are great, and I feel like it's better then the MMLP because, while that album was great also, I think it was a little too dark at points, and I get that's the point, but I don't think that's for me. The Eminem Show is the best because he mixes the silk shady style with the the Marshall Mathers style of Eminem perfectly, and even though some songs weren't amazing like Say What You Say, it's still the best Eminem album in my opinion.

The best rap album of Eminem. It's as good as Nas' Illmatic. Most of the Stans say that MMLP is the best but clearly it has so many rubbish irrelevant songs like Kill you, remember me, who knew, drug ballad. The Eminem Show has only one rubbish songs and that too only lyrically - Drips. Even though this song has one of the best beats and is wickedly hilarious. There isn't a single song on this album which is not good. It's most consistent album of Eminem. From the beginning to the end, you never get bored or want to skip a track. Sing for the moment is the best track of this album.

This for me (personally) ranks as the best just because he perfected his delivery, punchlines, flow and production on this one. Marshall Mathers LP is a close second and SSLP third. All the other albums aren't really that great in my opinion. I mean they're good, for me the worst album is MMLP2, driven by songs like Bezerk and Monster *eye roll*... that says it all really. Terrible songs. Never make a sequel album, you're constantly changing as an artist so a sequel album (to your 'magnum opus') later down the line is just a bit desperate to me, it'll never be the same or recapture the same vibe. Just kinda means you've lost your true musical touch really. Real artists only make music that is for them, and perfected and only release it when they have it right, Eminem's recent stuff is pretty terrible to be honest in every way, production, lyrics, flow, etc.

I think the reason this is better then the mmlp is just because its got so many more diffrent beats and subject matter then any of his other albums. Til I collapse pumps you up without me makes you laugh white America makes you think about politics. He tackles so many diffrent issues. Every song sounds diffrent. It has its misses but less then any other album. Although I really love the mmlp2 this one I think had a bigger impact the. Some of the songs on the mmlp sound to much alike. I do love Kim, Stan, the way I am, kill you and the real slim shady but the others didn't really explode for me they were not bad just not great. The eminem show is just plain awesome!

The MMLP is great and has some of his greatest songs of all time but the Eminem Show is his deepest and most introspective album. He puts his entire personal life out there for us in songs like Cleaning out my Closet and Sing for the Moment while also having some of his sickest lyrical verses like Say Goodbye to Hollywood or Till I Collapse. Every single song on his album is a good one and Eminem himself even says that this is his best work.

I have only begun to listen to Eminem roughly 2 months ago, but from what I've heard of him, The Eminem Show showcases his best work with tracks like Sing for the Moment, Cleaning Out my Closet, White America, and Till I Collapse. These tracks all have fantastic hooks and phenomenal word play, with some of the word play of MMLP2 somewhat lacking with too many corny lines and punch lines. Sing for the Moment has to be Eminem's best song.

After listening to Eminem's most well known albums (so not SSEP, Infinite, his Soul Intent stuff, the 8 Mile soundtrack, and Straight From The Lab), The Eminem Show is probably my favorite. It is quite amazing to hear the maturation of Eminem's lyricism. His rhyme scheme here is still on point. This was a very complete album that I enjoyed. Not a knock at SSLP or the original MMLP, because those are two legendary albums as well, I just personally enjoyed The Eminem Show the most.

Amazing Eminem Album. Personally, my favorite. His lyrics are excellent and the songs are as well. People believe the MMLP is the best but you have to realize, Em has more variety in the Eminem Show. More personal, even sheds little light on his love life. I'm just happy people are now beginning to see how great this album is. Hopefully, Em's next one is like this. Also, Til I Collapse is one of Em's best songs.
