Morphine and opiates have a medical use. Cancer patients are treated with opiates at the final stages because opiates are the best painkillers so far known. So the comment that says that weed works for pain is ridiculous ( it works for minor pain ) but it certainly does not work for major pain like cancer, burnings at 3th degree... and so on.
