You probably saw that one coming. After all, it's number one in the community list about the subject. Some people hate the MK8 remake because of all the changes but the reason of those changes is because the original was too empty. Granted, it has some chomps that eats the tracks, but they're not enough to fill the longest track of Mario Kart history. It doesn't even have bottom less pits. The most iconic thing in rainbow roads is how hard they are and how easy it is to fall off, and this rainbow road have nothing of that. The worst is that I know why there are barriers to prevent you to fall off. Did you notice that every time you fall off in Mario Kart 64 it's either in water, lava or a pit that have a bottom? For example, Banshee Boardwalk have water under the track. That might explain why falling off Rainbow Road by jumping at the start of the track, there is an invisible bottom.
