I am stuck in 5th grade. We got our second Semestral report cards. My mom was more happy then she had ever been. There are 3 semesters (Baseline, Midterm and Final) per school year. The final is going to be extremely hard and I don't know how I'm supposed to pass my final exam. We have like the New York state ELA and math assessments. I had to create a huge power-point about Chile and it has to be like 15 slides and it has to include transitions, word animations, a theme and like we have to insert a background image. If you think 5 paragraphs is too much..., In the beginning of the year I had to type a 745-word essay on MS word to go to middle school. My parents are going to meet my teachers in 2 days and I'm very nervous

God damn I hate 5th grade we have this book report we have to do over Christmas break I mean come on why can't I just chill and have a good time but hell no. At our school in 5th grade you have to write a five paragraph essay on the importance of Hippos at the beginning of the year(I am not kidding! ) You have lots and lots of homework that take you about 3 hours to do. My sister is in 5th grade and it takes her about 3 hours to finish her homework. And you have to read 10 books during the summer going into 5th grade and going into 6th grade and they all have to be chapter books with at least 200 or more pages and my sister spent most of the summer just sitting on the couch on her phone with a pizza box and that was it. She spent the last 2 weeks of the summer reading. And in the end she only had had 5 books read by the beginning of the school year and got a D in reading so far for that.

5th grade is a medium-hard 7/10 hard year with its ups and downs just like 6th grade. With about 3-5 assignments a day, most of the assignments were not hard, and took less than 15 minutes. As the year progresses, the amount of assignments increases a little bit to about 4-6 a day, but it is not that big of an increase. Very possible to get all work done in school.

It's so hard 5th grade is one of the worst grades, it's HELL and stuff and the homework is just way too hard and sometimes the Social studies teacher is way too strict, I want to end this misery :(

I remember this was my least favourite year. A lot of personal things went down, and I wanted to go back to fourth grade so many times. I also got seperated from my little cousin around this time, which sucked. But I remember getting on the stage and getting my certificate which shown that I finished elementary, and it felt so good.

5th is the worst year in elementary school (I am seriously not joking with you guys)my teachers Mr. M and MS.T where extremely strict fifth grade math was not good they asked me coordinates(like x and y) of points on lines of graphs(I felt like I was doing algebra 2) they even told me how to calculate volume and perimeter of 3 dimensional shapes. geometric formulas was the 2nd worst I had to calculate fractions with square roots with numbers like pi (3.14159265358). the worst was the middle school application essay (just so you know I almost failed fifth grade).
