Is indeed a difficult sport, it takes 3-4 years for some people to even land a jump, much less rotating 3-4 times in midair. if anything is done wrong it can lead to injury and much less fatality. I've almost hit 10-20 people in the face from doing a certain spin or jump and the toe picks can take out someone else's eye with no problem. the bruises are extreme and we spend 2-9 hours practicing and practicing so we can score a medal in a 2 minute program.
