Sid is the best band I have never known others better than them. They have energies, soul and many things beyond expression in their music. I have listened to them for 3 years. SID has a diverse sound, ranging from visual kei to lighthearted pip rock. This really gives viewers of 2020 Tokyo Olympics a taste of Japan's diversity. Many of the higher ranking groups focus on one sound, and while I agree that they too should perform, I think SID should be one of the faces of Japan, along with the Vocaloids and older bands like X Japan and ARASHI. I believe that the opening ceremony should be diverse, and not be dominated by any one group.

SID is definitely THE band I would love to see perform there. Their music is extremely diverse, all written with beautiful melodies and exquisite arrangements, reinforced with poetic lyrics.
