Honestly season five is my favorite season and Starlight Glimmer is my favorite antagonist so it may be a little bias but I believe this episode is very underrated on this list. Starlight Glimmer beat Twilight, something that no pony else could do, also Starlight is capable of things not even Starswirl the Bearded could do. I'm just saying that this episode should be way higher on this list and definitely in front of "One bad apple" and "Wonderbolts academy". By no means am I saying this is the best episode because "Twilight's kingdom", "Crusaders of the lost mark" and "The return of harmony" definitely earn the top three spots on this list, but with scenes like that of Pinkie and Maud completely obliterating a rock and Rainbow Dash's character design in the Sombra dimension, what's not to love about this episode. The song at the end tied up the season well and always brings a tear to my eye as it slowly pans out, and then I look at Bulk Biceps looking in some random direction and ... more

Sorry for stating this, but to be honest: while Starlight is okay for me, her reformation was the episode's BIGGEST flaw, especially since quick redemption moments got stale by this episode (ex. Diamond Tiara, Sunset). Let's just face it, before this episode, we HATED Starlight and Twilight simply letting her off way TOO easy is just flat-out unacceptable. And it has happened before, because remember, Discord betrayed everypony to side with Tirek, and when Tirek was defeated, everypony just suddenly forgets/ instantly forgives him for everything he did; and he didn't even get a scolding or be stripped of his powers until he can be trusted! Everything else was great, but Starlight's redemption could have been written WAY better.

I just loved this episode! of course it is not at no. 1 since it is the latest episode. First off, we get a recap of Discord (unreformed) Sombra, Nightmare Moon, Tirek, AND QUEEN CHRYSALIS! Plus a special return to Starlight Glimmer we even get a peek at why she created the town in the first place! It was a amazing redeem and I look forward to season 6 where I heard in the season premure titlited Cutie Castle parts one and two involve Starlight Glimmer joining the mane six. AMAZING! At the end, she aplozies to her town witch I wanted to happen. I do not know that much about season 6, but if you want to know more please tell me.

Starlight Glimmer is the main character there and she is my favorite. Well its not my favorite episode but I love the one when Sunburst and Starlight meets again and blushes. It's so cute I wish the author wrote more about those 2.
