For a Disney villain, he is surprisingly evil and brutal. After being rejected as a sidekick by his hero, his resentment for mr incredible slowly evolved into a hatred for any and all supers. Giving himself superpowers thru his genius in technology, he slaughters hundreds of supers to prepare his omnidorid to kill mr incredible, the strongest one there is. And when he is about to deliver the killing blow, he comes down and taunts mr incredible, showing him just how powerless he really is against him. And just when things couldn't get any worse, he does the unthinkable and tries to KILL MR INCREDIBLES FAMILY. This guy is brutal even by non disney standards.

Syndrome is by far the darkest and most evil pixar villain, because he killed hundreds of former super heroes (and just think how evil it is to kill just one person) and was later willing to kill even children. So Hopper and Lotso are not even close to Syndrome that monster.

This guy wanted to be Mr. Incredibles side kick but Mr. Incredible did not want him to. So what happens? Buddy becomes syndrome kind of like anakin becoming Vader. He kills off hundreds of supers and by that lures the incredible family.

The guy is an absolute psycho. Because one of his idols rejected him, he created several inventions and practically exterminated superheros. Hes at his absolute worst when he attempts to Bobs family, knowing fully that his children would die too. And after he seemily killed them, he taunted Bob for being weak for feeling sad. Thats just messed up...
