Wolves are my favorite animal. They hunt in packs and have a leader, which makes them kind of like humans. They can "write" with scent. They have amazing smell and hearing, too. Not only that, but they are very strong and vicious. I would NOT want to see a wolf silently bearing down on me from above, its yellow eyes shining in the moonlight. It creeps closer and slowly breaks into a run. Terrified, I try to flee, but it is too fast. It is joined by more eyes glinting in the shadows which emerge and become more vicious creatures of the night. They growl, which sounds like cold thunder.
