Looking at all the lists Adventure time is pretty controversial and everyone's opinion varies. This show was reccomended to me by a friend and I was skeptical watching the first few episodes but there are good episodes sprinkled around. The thing I really like is the hidden messages behind some episodes and how even kids will enjoy it regardless of it's "deep" morals. My favorites are probably the episodes that involve Marceline's past but that's just because they decide to go deeper into her history more than everyone else (I don't know why we can't learn more about the other characters though). Best part is that the show (at least tries to) avoid plot holes. The recent episodes make references to past episodes. Some things we question get answered on and there's even foreshadowing (wow! ). But sticking with it's episodic nature Adventure Time isn't confusing if you decide to skip some episodes or watch only one. Adventure time is a very deep, emotional, and funny cartoon. It has many well developed characters and no matter what age you are there is always a story you can relate and connect to. There is no repeating storyline, and I really appriciate how the story developes after each episode, instead of restarting. There are so many good points to this series, from the action, to the romance, and on top of that all the characters mysterious pasts, including the mushroom war. I can't stress the genius of this series enough, it's my favorite show of all time, and I can't wait to see more!

Brilliant. Brilliant. Just amazing. Weird characters, super good world building it gets bigger and bigger. One season it's just Finn and Jake messing around, the next it's exploring the origins of important characters, such as the brilliant Simon and Marcy episodes. It also opens up a whole world of substitute swear words. (I know, HALLELUJAH! ) Just such a weird, wacky, dark and beautiful show. It was between this and Gumball (Which is also amazing) but I went with this one. I highly recommend those who haven't already to GO BINGE WATCH THIS NOW! Gumball too, also amazing.

I am very touched by the episode "Simon and Marcy. " This episode is emotionally powerful and I strongly recommend all Adventure time fans to watch it. I also hope that the Ice King would remember his past life as Simon Petrikov and "little Marcy"I love the show as it is very touching and emotional, it's arguably the best kids show ever made. Adventure time has a rather dark history behind the land of Ooo, which leaves the audience in suspense as the mystery slowly unfolds.

To Adventure Time Haters: SCREW YOU! This show has some of the deepest, most creative story plots in cartoon history. The storyboard designers and voice actors are the hardest working in the business, and the show is pretty funny too. Look at the list "Best Cartoon Network Shows", haters. Just look. You'll notice that its #2 on that list. Just goes to show that there are tons more fans than you idiots who don't know a great cartoon when you see it.Dislike this comment all you want, but that wont change anything. This show will go down as one of the best cartoons of all time and you haters need to realize that. Again, disliking me wont do crap.

Awesome And a little disturbing cartoon series which is adored by many people ( including me). It is one of the best shows I've ever watched. It is based on a 15 year old boy ( in 2013) Finn, and his best buddy and roommate, jake, going on amazing adventures in the land of O. The other characters are ice king, Marceline, princess bubble gum and many more... If you watched all the episodes, you probably will get kinda bored as new episodes only are released latest by one month. I suggest you should watch other shows first. One of-characters is Marceline, the 1000+ year old vampire queen. She changed quite a lot after hanging out with Finn. She is a daring and mischievous ' devil' I had ever known. Princess bubble gum is a '19' year old ( biological age. Actual age is (300+) ruler of candy kingdom. She is very carried away by science and always does researches. Ps, she was once liked by Finn. There is also a character who is also like by Finn. She had actually dated Finn. Not like ... more

I agree that this is the number 1. I like it because I can be deep and funny at the same time. I don't really like the episodes that are just funny. The deep ones really touch me and I enjoy the back stories behind each character ( my favorites are marceline's and Finn's). I really hope they do a backstory for bubblegum
