SRB, the School of Richmond Ballet, is based on the Balanchine goal of first, a school. The classes are truly pre-professional, designed to take dancers into a professional career if they are suited. The school is in the same building as the company, and students are able to audition for certain company shows such as Nutcracker. The faculty come from across the globe and are top notch. It is a smaller school than the big-name three letter schools, yet the training is just as good.
