This 'Film' is terrible. There is virtually NO STORY whatsoever! In fact, I will summarise the story in one sentence:SPOILER ALERT!Ryan (the main character) goes into space because she mourns the death of her daughter (who apparently slipped whilst playing tag -_-) along with George Clooney, who dies after the ship is hit by space debris, which means that Ryan must drift to the Chinese station (which somehow also manages to cross the path of the same debris) and crash land into a convenient lake. THAT is basically the entire story, apart from a pointless dream in which George Clooney posthumously reappears. Granted, the graphics are great, but graphics don't make a film.

The last time a notable wide-released, live-action film was rated 97% or higher on rotten tomatoes was in 1997 when L.A. confidential came out. It is also the first film since Inception to get a spot in IMDB's top 50. This is definitely 2013's best film.Iron man 3, although a great movie, wasn't even the best movie when it came out.Captain Phillips should be in the top five. It would have been the my favorite film of the year if Gravity didn't exist.

I'm here to point out that everything above this is tainted with the wretched stink of commercialism. Superheros and milked plots, knock-offs of literature, and generally bad movies are the things our society has been bred to appreciate. While there have been many better movies than this, it at least deserved to be above the washed-up plotless action flicks created only o rake in money from the masses.

How is IRON MAN 3 Number 1? I'm sorry, that film was a huge disappointment. This movie however, is a classic, and will remain one. I mean, it is a visual feast, the acting is awesome, and it has a great storyline. Captain Phillips needs to be high on this list as well. Iron Man 3 does not belong anywhere near top thirty, let alone top ten.

This movie was sad,Unrealistic and Fiction those don't go together.the reason it was sad was because the guy who was in tommorowland yes the one the flew away and had to die or he might've found a space station but he was a major tom yes like always I'm kid.how it was unrealistic because how could the girl when she was in the water how could she would move so quickly becuase she has to spendloads of time until she has to come back because there's gravity on earth and it did;nt happen that's why it was fiction

Gravity is an absolute, magnificent masterpiece. Terrific in every aspect. A captivating and intense film with spellbinding visuals from beginning to end. And the soundtrack is simply breathtaking. A pulse-pounding thrill ride that grabbed me from the start and consistently amazed me.

I know I already voted for Iron Man 3 a while ago, but after seeing this beauty my mind was changed. Gravity is one of those movies you have to see on the big screen and in 3D. I am very thankful to say that I did.12 Years a Slave deserves the honor of being the most significant film of the year, but my favourite is this guy. - BKAllmighty

This film is magnificent. In the "Visual Effects" category, it should be with "Avatar." Great visuals, along with an eerie, tense thriller. This film is brilliantly directed. A must see, especially in 3-D. And the critics agree too. Catching Fire, Iron Man 3, and Man of Steel? They have nothing on Gravity.

This movie is an experience, really, it's not worth it to whatch it at home. This movie is about the visuals and the feeling of being out in deep space. One of the best movies not because of script, but because of what makes you feel, this movie really needs 3D and surround sound to actually appreciate what it has to offer.

This movie is absolutely brilliant. As several real astronauts have already stated, "It's the closest feeling to space that you'll ever get." The story, acting, an visual effects make it one of my favorites of 2013.
