will is the epitome of greatness. he distances himself from all of his family and friends because he believes he is cursed, protects his sister, parabati, and Tessa as much as he can, and is a sarcastic, lovable son of a biscuit. everyone loves a character that is daring, loving, cool and slightly difficult. Will Herondale has the wittiest, most incredible sense of humour. He gains every readers love and respect through all his inspiring quotes and dark (not to mention sarcastic) comments. I mean, seriously, some of William's most famous quotes are about ducks and an irrational fear of knees! And yet TID still manages to be a tear-jerking trilogy.

What the actual hell?#29...do better.Honestly this must be rigged or something.William Owen Herondale is the world's all time best character.If you weren't moved by his heart shattering back story,or enlightened by his charming wit and powerful quotes,then you obviously have no SOUL.This is BLASPHEMOUS,this is heretic and perverse.Will Herondale is the most noble,honourable,selfless and layered character to ever grace the world.He was still able to carry on even when he thought that NO ONE loved him.He was still able to be his happiest for his parabatai,even when he was engaged to the love of his life.He loves so fiercely and I have never cried so much over a character.HE SHOULD BE NUMBER 1! The development of his character was beautiful and I honestly don't understand what has happened here.
