How come Winter Sonata is on number 38 spot? This should be on number 1! I first watched this when I was only 14.. and I'm now 26 years old! I've already watched tons of Korean dramas but Winter Sonata holds a special place in my heart. It's just so moving and touching with the best soundtracks, beautiful sceneries and great actors. It's like a tradition to me already to watch this drama every Christmas break. The best Korean drama for me!

I too have the same opinion for this! I really love this drama and watched it many times without tiring. One of the best Korean drama I ever watched. the story was very inspiring, and shows you what true love is all about. All the actors and actresses are great! I will always remember this drama and would love to watch it over and over again!

Those who voted here are beginners. Frankly, the best kdramas were from early 2000's seriously. These were the originals of all the recipe which make kdramas addictive. the new ones are merely copycats and the guys look less manly, u know, the obvious make-up. The ones I'd like to mention are winter sonata(the best for me), Stairway to heaven(park shin hye is here), Autumn from endless love series,(the last two are heartwrenching), forbidden love(has the greatest OST in my opinion), my girl(girl is crazily funny but I couldn't help but to cry in her serious moments), BOF(i think it's before 2010? Not sure), queen of the game, green rose, a love story in harvard (really good for someone planning to study abroad) and princess hours. I also like some new ones like city hunter(so hooked withe OST), that day the wind blows(story and visuals are great), the heirs, sweet spy(i think this is very underrated. U should really watch this), my girlfriend is a gumiho and others whose titles I ...

This is a classic that belongs to the league of An Affair To Remember. Very well crafted and the actors are just phenomenal! Timeless piece of art! This is one Korean Drama that makes me cry the way Sleepless In Seattle and Dave do each time I watch them. Thank you for making such a beautiful gem!

I have watched this several time. I love the scenes! the acting and oh the crying. It's one of those dramas that didn't have a lot in it except good actors, good lines, haunting OST and beautiful scenic.

I have watched a lot of kdrama but this is still the best in terms of everything that is important in kdrama which is stornline, cast, music and dramatic effect and cinematography... Brilliant! Nothing tops this even though there were some close ones... :))

Cry a river.R.I. P to one of the actors who died. Also watch stairway to heaven. These are one of the first movies I watched that made me so depressed laugh out loud and the music is just awesome

Winter Sonata is actually Tiwainese not Korean but it is my number three in all time best Korean dramas. But be ready to cry a lot. It is very sad but has a good ending you will like.
