One word: Perfect. No other words are needed. Finnick Odair is a gift and we should all celebrate him every day. I will never forgive Suzanne Collins for his death. His relationship with Annie was one of the few beams of light in Mockingjay. I loved his friendship with Katniss, Peeta, Johanna, and Mags. He deserved to live a long, happy, fictional life. I cry internally every time I think about how he never got to grow old with Annie. He is such a complex, amazing character. Ok, I'm ranting now...

Youngest victor is pretty impressive. He could beat Katniss in a one on one. I cried so hard during his sad and long death scene. He sacrificed himself by throwing his trident at the lizard mutt that was about to kill Katniss.

Finnick is kind, amazing, passionate, sweet, caring and literally the cutest character to ever step foot into the thg trilogy. He went through so much pain and destruction; and died in litterally the worst way possible. I know Katniss couldn't have saved him - he sacrificed his life for the rebelion, BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN ANYONE! GALE! I mean, Katniss and Gale don't even live in the same damn district anymore! They don't talk to each-other! After the death of Primrose - which she blames on Gale - She can't even think about him! GALE SHOULD HAVE DIED - FOR FINNICK!

he's an amzing character- very complex and many scenes w him in it have a lot of tension packed into it- a quality I always look for in books. also he has these strange mos where I have to go "welp he's in my top 5 characters now.. He was sweet, kind, caring, shallow, broken, and I loved him until the end. He had been through so much and has his mind, body and spirit broken a thousand times, and after all that was murdered in the quickest, most brutal way possible, alone. He deserved so much better, and may have been an annoying jerk at first but watching him open up and change was what made him special. I remember reading the passage where he died on the train on my way to Germany, I was looking forward to seeing him live his life with Annie, their son, his friends, and thought that after so many tears he could finally find peace, and then his was murdered, just like that. I cried when Rue died, when Cinna died, when Prim died, but when Finnick died I just felt empty, inside. He was the most painful, bittersweet and memorable character, but he slipped away into darkness.

I love his character, he is so badass and could probably beat any tribute who has ever been in the Hunger Games, but at the same time he is a compassionate guy and a great overall character. One thing I didn't like though was the way his death was handled in Mockingly (the book). But I think they did a really good job of it in the film which made up for it. He died sacrificing himself for the others in the saddest scene in the movie. But if only Katniss had shot that one damn mutant that jumped on him, he could've saved him and he would have saved all of the others later and voted to stop the new hunger games! Curse you Katnip!

I am so relieved to see Finnick in first because he definitely deserves it. He is baisically the whole package. I can't figure out any thing wrong his character. He makes an unforgettable first appearance with his sugar cubes, Haha. He is fierce and charming. Charasmatic and overall very attractive. On top of all that he is skilled in combat. He is so compassionate and kind. He saved Katniss and Peeta multiple times. He is loyal and faithful to those he loves. He is brave and fearless. He is simply perfect! He went through so much and his story is tragic. I cried over him and not rue...lol. His character is so strong. He is the best. He didn't deserve to diiieee! -*starts sobbing, again.*

Finnick is the best. I still cry during his death scene. I hate how Katniss left him behind. I would've been fine if ANYONE ELSE would've died in his place, but NO, just kill off the best character.
