Most of the comments here are an insult to adults. I'm over 50 years old. When I was young I've listened to punk, garage-rock, mid-sixties garage bands and I still listen to rockbands. Saying that Jackie Evancho fans are mainly adults is purely crap. Jackie Evancho fans " is " the media. Some young religious do-gooders ( the ones who call her an angel ) and squares of all ages but certainly not adults who have seen The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix etc... live when there were young like one of the comments says. Rockers of the past are still rockers today, not classical crossover crap fans!

It is quite obvious that the haters are jealous that a regular, everyday girl from Pittsburgh received the gift of such a beautiful voice.Jackie Evancho has received recognition from the grownup world, and is regarded as an equal by the world's greatest grownup musicians like Andrea Bocelli, Barbra Streisand, Sarah Brightman, Tony Bennett, and David Foster.She is not a pop princess or rocker, and does not pretend to be, she is a serious classical singer, so it's not really much of a surprise that her style does not appeal to 10-15 year olds.

What an ignorant comment. We're not criticizing Jackie Evancho as a person or a music artist. We're criticizing the FANS for over-saturating everything Jackie does. She's an average classical singer. End of story.

I have nothing against Jackie Evancho, but you cannot criticize her in any way, shape, or form without her fans jumping down your throat. You cannot even suggest that she needs to improve, or that she should write her own songs, or learn to play an instrument. That is what makes her fan base annoying, and why I was surprised to find them at only number sixteen. This isn't about Jackie, I've never met her nor am I ever likely to. She does seem to have a rabid fan base, but way too over-protective.

100% of the time I've said something "negative" about her on YouTube I've gotten pathetic music elitists shoving down "classical is the only good music genre" arguments down my throat and through my @ss.
