I think this is a really good album! Not their best (I think AROBTTH is the best album ever made) but this album is very unique and every song is distinct and has its own special thing to it. Some of coldplay's best work is on this album, and the best guitar solo is in up and up! Songs like everglow, fun, and adventure of a lifetime are truly works of art and show's the bands true talent. They have evolved but they are still coldplay and still make wonderful, meaningful music. The reason why they have changed with each album is so they don't get boring making the same sound over and over (which has led many bands to their end). This album is overall very good and is certainly under appreciated and mis interpreted

First of all, not an album to please Coldplay haters. A bit like Ghost Stories, we may have mixed feelings about this fresh new release. On one side we have brilliant songs like Birds or Amazing Day and on the other, pop songs like Hymn For The Weekend or the ill-fated X Marks The Spot.It is possible to appreciate those songs though. They are certainly catchy but do not sound like good old Coldplay.What's interesting about AHFOD is that we can still see some traces of previous albums in a few songs. Birds sounds like the cousin of Hurts Like Heaven from MX and A Head Full Of Dreams has those guitar riffs that reminds me of XY, which is cool!Anyways, not their best album and I hope this is not their last like they said. Good songs: Birds, Everglow, Amazing Day, A Head Full Of Dreams.

I love this album! There is not one bad song. I personally think it should be higher up on the list. Adventure of a Lifetime and Hymn for the Weekend were some of my favorite songs, alongside Clocks and Paradise.

I like this album because it has a very uplifting feel to it. It also has a huge style gradient in it from Everglow to A Hymn for the Weekend (which is an incredibly mis-interpreted song: actually about how "life is a drink and love's a drug") Almost every song has a driving force and an uplifting message.

Not as great as the first three albums, but can contend with Viva La Vida for 4th. Definiteupgrade over Mylo Xyloto and Ghost Stories. Songs such as Adventure of a Lifetime, bring that fast, upbeat themes while songs like Army of One, Fun, and X Marks the Spot flow brilliantly throughout.

I see it as an upgrade of Mylo Xyloto. It has the optimistic, fast paced themes of Mylo (ex. Adventure of a lifetime), but has a deeper feel to it as well (ex. Kaliedescope). It's almost like Mylo, but with a deeper wiser feel. In my opinion.

Not their best album but still got good songs on it, like Adventure Of A Lifetime, Hymn For The Weekend, Fun, Amazing Day, Up Up and Everglow, thats half the album lol, but this shows why I think Coldplay are the best and what a band they are, because I think its only their 6th best album only better than Ghost Stories but even this album and GS still sound good, and memorable songs from every album, theyre up there with The Beatles in my opinion
