This to me is Jeff Kinney's best work. I only wish he could return to his original form. Nothing has been the same since he released this book, and everything after pales in comparison to it. It has the best moments among characters in my opinion. Greg and Rowley's chemistry in the book is the best here, as well as between his family. Manny in the previous entries has come off as annoying, and in some ways unneeded, however here, he establishes himself as being an enjoyable character to see despite what he may have caused his family.The events that take place within the book are the best here. The stakes are high, while not being over the top like newer entries of the series. Greg's newspaper, and him and Rowley's holiday bazaar were fantastic story elements. The individual stories as well that happen overtime come off as realistic, and believable as well as enjoyable to read all at the same time.The writing has never been better. Easily the most re-readable book in the series. The Christmas theme is nailed perfectly in this book. I want Disney to make this a movie (FOX bought by Disney) and I know they will do it perfectly! This has some of the funniest moments in the series from Manny Turing off the power to the Santa's scout following Greg around. Overall the best book.

Cabin Fever is a fantastic book! It really showcases the chemistry between Greg and Rowley with the Holiday Bazaar. The tension building up in the second half with the snow-storm and the newspaper article had me flying through pages. To top it all off, the end of the book really establishes what we've been looking forward to all 200 so pages and we see all loose-ends finally unite for Christmas. Such a magical story, but sadly, it's never been the same after this one.

I'm not a fan of this series anymore, but I still love Cabin Fever! I love Christmas. The part where Greg and Rowley where trying to start their own Holiday Bazar (? ) (I forgot how it was spelled) was very entertaining. I also admit that it scared me when the police came to Greg's house. This is a very entertaining book!

I love everything about this book. The ending is great, too! I especially like the part where there were copycats that drew six packs on their stomachs like Greg did, and it said "But some of those guys were REALLY awful makeup artists." That's one of my favorite lines in the book.

This is one of those books my 4th grade daughter can't put down, and she continuously states "I love this book! ". I'm actually here looking for the next one to purchase. This ones far is her all time favorite. I think Rodrick Rules is next on the list.
