Why all the sudden it's became a dragon and grass type?!? It was already cool as only grass not grass and poison! it's just like saying a cockroach is a lion! they just ruined the awesomeness of sceptile! In emerald you can teach it aerial ace and defeat may's(I'm not sure if the girl player is may but I'm just saying that because she looks like her) Combusken...well you still can beat her Blaziken if she wasn't a lazy coach potato...by the way she isn't like a rival more like a friend because you don't even fight her after defeating the elite four she just came running in wanting to give tips after we defeat wallace(The Champion)...anyway sceptile was good because it was only grass type and better than meganium...they just ruined that and make it a 2 type Pokemon...they just ruined it!
