I've read a number of Top Ten Disney Villain lists, and very rarely have I seen Clayton featured, instead replaced by people such as Lady Tremaine and Governor Ratcliffe, both of which are certainly villainous, but I disagree with either of them being more evil that Clayton.My reasons for which being that, not only is Clayton a vicious hunter complete with an obsession with money and a total disregard for endangered species, but he also doesn't really give a damn about which laws he breaks in the process. He was perfectly willing to chuck Jane and her daddy in the ship's hold, and was also perfectly willing to not only beat up Tarzan, but also kill him as well. As long as he got his cash, he was happy to kill anyone that got in his way. Also, he killed Kerchak, who then proceeded to pull a Snape, and become nice just before he died, a ploy that has very few reasons other than to give Tarzan a feeling of fulfillment and make us even more depressed than we originally were.
