Not sure he's #1 due to lack of top competition.in his day their was no mma, it was jiu jitsu vs karate, or jj vs tae kwon do, or boxing. When rickson was fighting the vast majority of his fights were against very limited skill set would be tough guys who belonged in tough man competitions.if he fought today he would not be undefeated, as the gracie style has been exposed over and over (especially with todays rules.) he and the rest of the gracies are and were great, and rickson should be ranked higher, but probably not #1, in top 5 though probably and much better than royce.
