It seems like nobody here knows Dark Samus' capabilities. Dark Samus, or formerly the Metroid Prime, is an incarnation of Phazon (The most dangerous radioactive substance in the universe), Samus' Phazon Suit, and the essence of the Metroid Prime thus granting Dark Samus an insane arsenal and skill set. It took Samus many attempts to kill her. Heck, Dark Samus is invulnerable to almost all forms of damage most of the time. Dark Samus can even regenerate after losing her physical form. She even caused a huge issue for Samus in Metroid Prime 3 by almost killing her and corrupting her right at the beginning. That slowly corrupted her through out the game until the end where Samus was extremely close to losing.
