A girl+girl pairing, SalAmy is the perfect compromise to all the unnecessary mudslinging between fans of Sally Acorn and Amy Rose. After all, why pit them against each other when you can pair them together? Plus, when you think about it, it actually makes a lot of sense. Sally could definitely benefit from Amy's lighthearted attitude, and a lot of the things she admires in a courageous hero like Sonic can certainly be fulfilled with Sally. They compliment each other so perfectly that I'm thoroughly sold on the idea of them being a couple. Sally's romantic subplot with Sonic always felt forced, especially in the comics, and Amy's infatuation for him always seemed more akin to her being a fangirl more than anything else, so having these two girls settling down and finding belonging in each other is immensely satisfying to imagine.
