The Beach Boys should AT LEAST be in the top 15. I mean, come on. It's the Beach Boys. I, personally, don't really listen to them that much, but it doesn't mean they're bad. I tend to separate what I like from what I think is the best (For example Led Zeppelin is my favorite band but I think the Beatles are the overall best band) and this is an example of that. Listen to "God Only Knows" or any of the other masterpieces on one of the first albums to be a work of art in its own right and not just a few hits mixed in with some filler to cash in a bit more: Pet Sounds (I know how ridiculous that name sounds, but trust me, it's good) and you'll change your mind. This is an outrage that the Beach Boys are so low, they belong among the top five. the Beach Boys Vocal Harmonies are among the Best in the World, Though they did not have great sales during the late Sixties and Seventies, They're Albums Pets Sounds (1966), Surf's up (1971), Sunflower (1970), Wild honey (1967), Smiley Smile (1967), and many others are some of the best psychedelic/Baroque rock/pop music, I suggest people listen to these albums. Pets Sounds in My opinion, is the greatest album of All time, and it raised the bar for Pop Music forever, and I think that it has never been surpassed, I have never liked Sgt Pepper, though I have listened to it many times, but it just never got me. It just wasn't my taste. SMiLE is a great album one of the greatest, they're music is a credit to America. In my list of Greatest Artists, The Beach boys and the Beatles are my Top 2, and I think they equally deserve the recognition. This is my opinion, but I hope some people agree.
