I think when you look at all sorts numbers of sales and ratings of music, theoretically the beatles, led zeppelin and others are better. I can see why most people might prefer them, but come on it's HER MAJESTY QUEEN. Listening to their music has been an incredible expirience and I love their live shows. It really makes me sad that I'll never get the chance to see Freddie and Deacy perform with them. All of the members were in form and their songwriting was brilliant. From songs that have become household staples like somebody to love and Bohemian rhapsody to their lesser known work like In the lap of the gods revisited and love kills these guys really have a wide catalogue with quality material.Freddie: very energetic and lively with smart ideas he brings to life. All of the bands on this list are amazing but I think Queen is a little better. All the band members were so different but they all went together. Queen always has music to offer for every one of your moods and they never disappoint. I can't think of one song of theirs that was even just a little bit bad. Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, Brian May, and John Deacon felt so connected with the audience. I've never been to one of their concerts and I wasn't even alive when they performed but even when I watch videos of their concerts it feels as if I'm there. I haven't watched Bohemian Rhapsody and I'm still in love with Queen. This just goes to show that people nowadays don't only love Queen because of the movies. Again, all the bands on this list are amazing and have so much to offer but in my opinion, Queen has just a bit more.

Queen is absolutely amazing, they came up with so many rock classics like we will rock u, bohemian rhapsody and we are the champions. They were very experimental, they tried things that other bands wouldnt dream of doing, thus making their music unique and better. They gave what the people wanted, at first people wanted hard and glam rock, so they gave them that, later in the people wanted more pop rock so the did that, they adapted to the changing world around them. They new how to tame and interact with the crowd, for hours and hours making them grate performers as well. My favorite song is one of their last songs from the album Innuendo, the show must go on, the song is just so powerful and emotional. So yeah, to sum it all up QUEEN is an amazing band and deserve our love and attention:))

Not denying Beatles at #1 at all but personally there is no musician nor band in the entire world that rivals Queen.Their unique and ever-changing sound, the single greatest frontman in history of music, discography that have withstood the test of time etc. I could go on all day.Also if you look at todays streaming sites like Spotify and YouTube Queen is the most popular music act from the 70s, 80s and 90s by an absolute landslide. This phenomenon has indeed escalated due to the biopic but If I recall correctly their dominance in streaming was a fact even before that.But who cares at the end of the day, listen to what YOU enjoy... Anyway the wind blows

My favourite band of all time? No. The greatest band of all time? You bet your ass. How many other bands in the world have so many hits recognised by so many people? Could the layman in the street name 15 Led Zep songs? Pink Floyd? Even the Rolling Stones? No. That's the beauty of Queen - they transcend their fans and speak to everyone. Whilst I recognise that the Beatles were pioneers of their time, they were successful because nothing like them had come before. That makes them fortunate, not the greatest.
