I did the ranking 5,4,6,2,3,9,10,8,1,7The reason I put S7 last is because the beginning of that season is weird, Chandler looks and acts strange and completely different to the last episode of the previous season (probably the drugs) the jokes aren't as funny I.e Joey thinking a Vicar is a goalie etc...there had just been in my opinion 5 brilliant seasons in a row from 2 to 6 where the programme was at it's peak (1995-2000) where there was just classic after classic, you could barely find an episode that wasn't non-stop entertainment in that period. Season 7 did get better as it went on and still featured some great episodes (as you'd expect from such a brilliant sitcom) like every season had at least some great episodes but the standard was so high from seasons 2-6 and the difference was there to see and in my opinion seasons 17 have the least amount of classic episodes. I think the 10 seasons go in 3 groups, 2-6 clearly the best, 8-10 middle and 17 were in my opinion the ... more

The start of the relationship between Monica and Chandler was one of the best things on the show. The way they tried to hide it, the way everyone found out about them at the end, everything about it was so smart and perfect. I love Ross and Rachel and they are my favorite couple but I'm glad the writers decided to make Monica and Chandler "a thing" because individually they are strong and interesting characters and as a couple they are even ten times better. The episodes in that season are all funny and ''classic''. Some of my favorites include TOW the sandwich, TOW everybody finds out and TOW the ball.

Best season hands down. I'm sorry but how is season 8 number one? There is one great episode in that season: TOW The Videotape. Other than that it's a pretty mediocre season. Season 5 on the other hand was just one amazing episode after another. With this season they were able to make Monica and Chandler hiding their relationship for 14 episodes and not only managed to keep it funny for half a season, but they were able to make the second half just as funny by ending it with Vegas

This is my favorite season of Friends. I love most of the episodes in seasons 3 to 6 episodes, but season 5 has so many great episodes in it. I like The One Where Phoebe Hates PBS, The One Where Ross Moves In, The One With Chandler's Work Laugh, The One Where Everybody Finds Out, The One With All The Resolutions, The One With The Cop, and the Vegas two parter - BigBerry25
