Everyone has different opinions on glee... The majoraty believe that the show should have been canceled after season 3 because it was a perfect ending... Some people even think it should have stopped after season 1... Others season 2... Others season 5... But whether you hate the new seasons, love em, or just started on the show everyone can agree that this episode was the heart and sole of ALL tribute episodes... Even with the character Finn not making an appearance in the episode itself, It still manages to perfectly capture who finn was not only as a person, but more importantly, as a friend, lover, teacher, brother, and so much more. The raw emotions portrayed by the actors are unbeatable and within the first five minutes, you feel yourself being pulled into the sad world of this glee. I'm a huge Gleek but season 4 was a big disappointment to me. Of course I didn't expect to see the original characters to stay in Lima forever - that would be horrible and the exact opposite of what the show teaches. However, I wanted the original cast to get more storylines and the show to be more New York centric as I didn't care about what was going on in Lima anymore except of maybe Brittany's storylines that still seemed interesting. The show kind of lost its spark for me in the fourth season as the characters that I cared about such as Santana and Kurt didn't get much of a storyline or screen time whatsoever.The Quarterback episode made me remember again what Glee means to me and why I have been watching the show for so many years and why I still love it to this day. Seeing everyone mourning for Finn's death and sharing their thoughts and emotions about him made me realize again what Glee is all about. Even with it being over a year since the series finale, I had been with the show from the beginning, or at least as close to the beginning as I could of. I thought it was overrated at first, then my dad got me into it. Got the first half of the first season for me on DVD, binge watched through the entirety of that and was able to be up to date and be able to watch every episode live even when I had a pvr later on since the airing of Bad Reputation. While I agree that the later seasons just got plain bad, especially after the first graduation and it split between NYC and Lima. I still watched because it still had the essence of it. And I know that whether people either stuck with the show or quit the show, this was the episode that brought everyone back. Because the death of Finn as well the actor itself, struck a chord within us all and we were all mourning him. This heart-warming and loved tribute to Finn really deserves the 1st position. Finn was really an inspiring leader and character and this episode really told the viewers how each character felt about Finn on Glee. All the tears that fell from people's faces really made the emotion clear. Also, the songs that were sang were really touching and I felt like the actors/actresses on Glee could really communicate with Finn in this episode. Finn's family trying to let the pain out, Rachel's touching song that was sang while she was crying, Puck and Coach Bestie's strong bond and Will and Emma's scene really made this episode what it was. Heartbreaking, unforgettable, amazing, touching and sad. Ryan Murphy did an excellent job. We love you late Cory Monteith and our love for you is really expressed and showcased in this episode. - davakoh

Season 1 of Glee was a masterpiece. I honestly stopped watching after season 3, but after Corey's death I watched this episode and honestly it made me cry like full on sobbing. Finn was my favorite character and the heart of the show, so when Corey died I was in such disbelief and this episode helped me realize just how much I was mourning even though I wasn't an avid watcher of the show. The part with Finn's jacket just made me cry so hard it was as though I had lost a family member.

This Episode was the best but also the saddest episode of Glee. 5 minutes after the beginning of the Episode I was crying. I've never cried this much at a T.V. show. There were so much emotions and so much tears for all of us - for us Gleeks but also for the whole Glee cast. It was so real! The Episode was like I wanted it to be - talking about how he lived and not how he died. It was the best memorial episode ever for the best man ever. He'll always be missed but never forgotten! - We will always love you, Cory!

I was crying and crying that whole episode. It was so emotional I felt like I knew him. Everything about it was just real that wasn't acting that was real it was so strong but to me the best thing about it is that the characters acted the way you would except them to. If they didn't it would be expressing there own personalities instead of the ones that we know and some of them love. It was flawless well maybe I wanted more of it but they only run a hour at max so yeah. The beginning I want to talk about the way he lived not the way he died. I have watched many memorial episodes but this one was the first on that brought me to tears. Another great moment when Mark or Puck sang to that chair where Finn or Cory would sit that was intense. The writers obviously made the story line perfect even better than any other. - zotz99

I cry every time I here a song from this episode they really captured the life of Finn in this episode and did him justice with the sound track and even after dedicating this episode to him they dedicate their nationals set list to what more could Finn ask for he was an amazing person and this episode proves and honers that

The saddest and most emotional episode of Glee ever. It's an episode very difficult to watch if you're a Gleek and you were close to Finn's character but at the same time this episode was perfect. I could never think of a better way to say goodbye to someone so special to the Glee family.
