Percy Jackson is a fantastic all round series. Although I do not value it over Harry potter, I have voted for it because it is my second favourite and I'm not a hunger games fan. I READ THE WHOLE THING IN ONE DAY! It is a great read that I would reccoment to anyone at any age. Although, the movie was terrible, WHY DID THEY CUT CLARICE AND AIRES OUT! they were VERY essential to the plot.
