Bought my acer back in late 2007, it still runs very well, though many of its parts, and graphic cards are all outdated, I can still play video games on it 5-10 hours a day on my days off, as long they are below or at spec. It has lasted me for almost 9 years, played a good chunk of skyrim, fallout vegas, all 3 mass effects, and all 3 dragon age games, (though at lowest settings for the later ones), and the computer still keeps running.Thinking of buying a new one, because... well... I can't play any of the newer games on the one I have now.I will always be thankful for acer for making a truly solid computer, and hope the next one I buy from them will last me just as long, or longer.

Well, my aunt still owns an acer laptop from the 90's. it's slow... But still works. How many people can say that about an HP, Dell, or Apple... And if you were gullible enough like I was to jump on the windows vista band... You're already looking for your next $1000 soon to be flop. Which makes me want to just visit the library on my days off instead until they stop designing in expensive flaws so we HAVE to buy the next "new" thing. Tired of paying for unreliability. Do I really need the next big flop for a grand a pop? Nah. It would be different if I knew the money I invested would really be an investment. Not convinced technology is all it's cracked up to be. Remember... It's not your fault, it IS the computer's and happy computer hunting.

I would never do business with Acer. They purchased Gateway computer and they never honored my plan that I had with Gateway. I was told if I wanted anything done I have to pay for it. Their reviews are not that great either
