Yamaha by far above honda. Most people assume that honda motorcycles and honda cars are built by the same people lol they are not! Not even close! Honda by far has the worst quality in bikes since around 2011 if I remember the date correctly. When they started manufacturing junk out of Thailand... enough said. Yamaha very well in my option is even more reliable then honda with my fair share of first hand experience. I've had the same Yamaha for 7 years before I even changed the oil! Yes I know, naughty but It was and old bike I wanted to put to the test and just abuse it and it more then stood up it even out lasted two of my civics LMAO. Honda used to be good. In the early 90s on the other hand Yamaha has always been great and still is. They never seem to cut corners even on their brand new line up of cheap bikes! They are still built better then a mid priced honda. Lol. Sorry honda boys.

Yamaha provides a complete package, as a rider. Things to look in a ride.1.Soul, connection2. Style, looks3. Best of engine technology4. Functionality is there as well.5. Top notch quality, material,fitfinish.What separates Yamaha and Honda is, that Yamaha bikes almost always manages to be the best looking in the same segment with as good a reliability as Honda, if not better. Whereas Honda bikes somehow manages look dull and soulless, Not sure what's with Honda engineers, apart from cbr the rest of the lineup is pretty boring looking. Suzuki has a little lower quality but still good, the thing with suzuki is they will always have great performance. Kawasaki is surprisingly lowered it's quality but recently have delivered better products than suzuki in terms of quality,its all about raw performance.I would say all Japanese are great, to sum it up(HONDA+KAWASAKI +SUZUKI) = YAMAHA

Yamaha the best, no way! The have not really given us any game changers. If I had to choose one of the big 4 it would be between Honda and Suzuki. Honda gave us the CB750 which started it all off and must rank as one of the most important Japanese bikes, and then gave us the Fireblade which changed the superbike landscape and made all its rivals look overweight and dated. Suzuki...where do we start. The GS1000, the first superbike to handle well refined the bikes of the 70's. GSXR750 in the mid 80's, which set standards in the class which the others then copied. The bandit, up till then commuters had been rather staid. These two brands are above Yamaha easily, Yamaha were very late on the superbike scene and other than the RD350, FZR1000 R1 (none of which were as ground breaking as Honda) have not redefined any bike class.

Yamaha and Honda give each other good competition, both are on top, in motorcycle manufacturing. The slight difference between the two is : Honda gives more miles per gallon and Yamaha gives more power per gallon. Thus I opt this performance and joy to ride quality factor of Yamaha over the better economy of Honda.

Hands down the best brand, all those euro (ktm gas gas...etc) bikes just can't compete with the reliability of the Japanese (Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki) bikes I had a grizzly a few years back I got it new it never needed anything all I did was put new fuel in it the oil was never changed tires were never checked because they never went flat. My point is they are the best brand without a doubt

I owned many Harleys in my life I finally came to the conclusion that you are paying for the name. They don't hold there value very good anymore and my Yamaha Raider rocks next to any Harley that I owned. The reliability is bar none the best. Upkeep is by far cheaper than Harley and the build quality is not even close. You pay more for less with a Harley!

I live in Indonesia, all American and European motorcycles prices here is DOUBLE - TRIPLE than the original price in theirs each origin countries...because the government taxes... lucky you all who live there. Harley, Ducati, MV Agusta, BMW, Triumph, Aprilia, all those bikes is so cheap when I look all the prices in each websites! Make me melting...you're all lucky! for example, here in Indonesia... the most cheapest price for Ducati Monster 796 in US is only USD 10.500,- (So Cheap! ) but here is USD 25.000,- (For the same bike) so I just buy Yamaha rather than my boss bike (Ducati)... anyway if I race with him in hectic roads in Indonesia... I still win! :D using yamaha MT25. :D... the handling acceleration is awesome... power?... we have no empty road here to pull over all that power... traffics everywhere... I don't know if I live in Nevada... or salt lake... maybe I'll change my bike :P... because Harley is cheaper there than here... or maybe Triumph...
