I liked How to Train Your Dragon fine, however I'm a bit surprised Shrek did not make it's way up to number 1. Generally I dislike DreamWorks animated movies because the humor seemed more oriented at kids rather than making it fun for all age groups. Granted, these movies are geared toward children, but it's a much better experience when both the children and the adults enjoy the experience. Shrek manages not only to captivate both children and adults alike, it's one of the best animated movies

I think this movie is the best one in the whole entire world! I watched this movie 55 times one day and it still made me laugh :D... I am like 18 years old and I still think this movie is entertaining! THIS MOVIE ROCKS!

Forget How to Train Your Dragon! This was the movie that made Dreamworks the studio it is today! I really love just about everything in this movie. From the characters, to the animation, to the storyline, to the humor (I love how this movie balances adult jokes and kids jokes), and the voice acting (Mike Myers is badass as Shrek). Even with toilet humor, it worked for the most part and wasn't overused or unnecessary like in modern Nickelodeon shows. I also loved watching Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona

Love it... Simply the most heart warming story ever! The characters all have something special which will make you love each and everyone of them! Princess Fiona teaches younger girls who want to be a beautiful princess when they grow up, to not only be ho you want to be, but also be strong and not just a pretty face.

This the best dreamworks film. It's just a classic, but how to train your dragon is the second best, while it might not have been as funny as mamagascar escape to africa or kungfu panda, it had a better plot

This is the third time I've said this, but while I think this is number 1 how to train your dragon should be number 2. I don't feel strongly about shrek 2 being third on the list, but how to train should at least be number four I have to admit over the hedge had cute characters, and madagascar was hallarious along with kung fu panda

Not only did it create dreamworks turn into a franchise and gave Pixar a run for its money it also was a good movie jokes for adults and kids some very well hidden. the movie makes fun of cliches and snatched a lot of Disney characters to make fun of including the Disney princesses and Pinocchio there is also ginger bread man and the three pigs fairy god mother Captain Hook Prince Charming king argue and of course shrek

I am very surprised shriek is not number 1. As much as I love how to train your dragon, Shrek is hilarious with references and parodies of Disney movies, as well as small adult jokes making it lovable for people of all ages.
