Pure comic genius went into this movie. I'm seriously not sure how these guys came up with half the material in this movie: killer rabbit, Trojan rabbit, how they get around on no horses, etc... I truly believe that this movie is the most enjoyable and funniest movie ever put to film ad tape. It has the entire Monty Python cast, including the incredibly talent John Cleese, do thing that most comedy screen writers today can't come close to matching.

When my siblings and cousins told me how funny Monty Python and to be honest I thought it was too good to be true for a movie to be that funny. Well I watched it for the first time and I'll say this. I've never seen a movie so funny in my life. The humor is so funny but its stupid... But they did that on purpose and it works because they meant to make it like that. So many quotable lines and so much memories people will be watching this movie and praising it until the end of time...

My favorite part of the movie was the start when you see a hill and the horizon, than you hear a horse, this knight comes up the hill galloping on himself, than a follower is following him bashing 2 coconuts 2gether.

This movie has a totally unique type of humor unlike any other film. The silliness can be compared to Airplane,but whereas that movie relied on visuals to be funny,The Holy Grail is funny because of the voices and what was said.

Pure genius. Monty Python's Life of Brian was very funny, but this is the best Monty Python film. Other classics include Dr Strangelove, Airplane!, Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters, Dumb and Dumber, Anchorman, Blazing Saddles, The Nakedness Gun etc. But the black knight's flesh wound might be the funniest movie scene ever made.
