While not as good as Jurassic Park (but was never meant to be), to this day it's still the best Jurassic sequel (Jurassic World was entertaining, but it was no Lost World). The change of pace of the more wild and jungle area and more action and the train scene was intense and Ian Malcom is awesome and it's the most violent and brutal Jurassic movie to date- it's awesome.

I really don't understand the dislike people have for this one. I personally prefer it over the original. It feels more wild, has more action and suspense, spends more time in the thick of the plot, and gives more screen time to the most enjoyable character from the first film, Dr. Ian Malcolm. The supporting cast does the job well, also.

I very much enjoyed this movie. Lost World Jurassic Park 2 is just too underrated. Of course I prefer the original but this surely deserves good credit and same as Jurassic Park 3.
