Even though this game was very revolutionary for the Zelda series, I don't believe that it quite deserves the number one spot. There is plenty of things wrong with the game like not seeing enemies and other things that needed to be worked out in a three dimensional game. This issue was fixed in later Zelda games that had equally good storylines and gameplay. This game may have blowed everyone away when came out, but that it's the best.

I think this game is the best game in the world. It has had such an impact on modern gaming, and is definitely the Jewel in the franchise. Look, I'm sorry but someone has to say it: Ocarina of Time gets more praise than it deserves. Is it a bad game? Not even close. Is it a good game? Certainly. Is it a great game. I would even go a bit further. However, it is so often dubbed the 'greatest game of all time' for no reason other than starting a genre. There is certainly an argument to be made that it's the most important game of all time, but that isn't the same thing as the best.

This game is an amazing game. But it's overrated. This is by far NOT the best Zelda game. In my opinion that title goes to either WindWaker or Breath of the Wild. I do admire this game for its big jump to 3D and it's aged pretty well other than the graphics. And I think an HD version of this game would be awesome. But I think it's overrated. I love exploring in Zelda games and going from A Link to the Past to this is a big downgrade. There is like nothing to explore other than a few secrets. Win
