This is definitely the most tragic death, we lost the biggest musician that walked on this earth. If it wasn't for him the Beatles would have never existed and we would never have other great musicians that John and the Beatles have inspired. I saw an interview with Chapman and he said that he killed John so he can take his fame. WHAT AN IDIOT! I hope a policeman shoots him 5 times in the back, so that he sees what it's like to die. Son of a bitch...

Mark Chapman, GO TO HELL.

He was always reinventing himself because he had to do so. When listening to new music or some of his peers I wonder what his comments would have been. What would John do?

Nothing ever came close to being as tragic as the day we lost this amazing, inspiring, brilliant and so humane, human being. Love you, John Lennon.

I almost died myself!

···································································

There is no way any death could be more tragic then John's. He didn't deserve to die and was such an inspiration. He is one of the best songwriters of all time (Paul McCartney also being up there) and without him, music would be so much different. He was and still is an inspiration to the world of music. He is missed so much and I hope his dream of lifelong peace will come true. We love you, John!

I still miss his point of view, his wit and his political convictions and I can only dream of how he would have contributed to both the musical scene and to a better world

he got shot 9 times, thats why it was so tragic

Sweet God, this death was so terrifying. I hope Mark Chapman rots in hell for eternity.

马克·查普曼,去死吧。—摇滚乐18显示更多评论,达尔;

If I lived in the 80's id probably flood the city in tears. As much as we loved him on earth he still lives in our hearts which is what matters.
