I had three generations of Rotts and with their puppies... They all went to good homes where I later heard the vets were so impressed with their good nature. My last Rottweiler was Rosie and she was just the best! We bought a Wheaten Terrier female and that gave more life to Rosie. So she lived to 13 years old! However, because of their profuse shedding we have stayed with the Wheaten who also have a marvelous fun personality!

I have 2 Rottweiler's. Tazz, my boy and Nonee, my girl. 2 years ago I was attacked by a wolf. Tazz saved my life. They are the best with my grandbabies. They will let almost anyone in the house. But getting out can get tricky if they don't know you. Just remember to train them when they are little, and stick with it. If you're not an alpha, maybe you should get a different breed. They need someone they can trust and respect.
