I have pugs. Absolutely the most gentle loving dog there is. Great with kids. If you want a best friend pugs are it. They do need some extra care due to those folds and larger eyes. I have found they do best in pairs or another dog in the house. Especially while their humans are away from home. The do not like to be alone.

Pugs are definitely not for me. they're affectionate but pretty useless and personally, I find them unattractive. Also, I think it's kind of cruel that pugs are so inbred because of their popularity: they can barely even breath! Poor little pooches!
