For those of you who don't know ARW was rated 3rd best in a special forces competition in 2003 and some stories say out of all the countries SF or SWAT teams present ARW were the only ones to use the sewers or underground passages to clear a building in the fastest time possible. There selection course lasts 3 weeks and if you pass you go on and do a 34 week training course. Since ARWs formation in the 80s-present day 11000 members of the Irish defense Forces applied only 400 of them passed and no female soldiers have passed. In my opinion as a hopeful in joining the Irish Army and then ARW I would say ARW are the most secretive SF unit in the world.
