I'll try not to bring up that he's so good-looking because that's literally nothing to do with why I voted for 10 out of all these Doctors. I feel like 10 portrays the emotions and connects with the fans more than any other Doctor. I'm not saying the others don't express the emotions, I'm just saying, I think 10 did it to the point where on some level, we could emotionally relate. We all know Rose and him were in love, and after losing her, he seemed depressed but did his best not to show it and not to let it interfere with his work and everything he did. Although he was slightly annoying with Martha, as all he did was bring up Rose, this just shows how attached he was to her and he didn't bring her up too often, which is critical because if he did it would've made the show so dry and dull. 10 displays his sadness in the same way we do, but he also tries hiding it like we do, feels anger like we do, and I think he's the most human out of all of them. 11 is a good Doctor but I honestly ... more - GordonRamsay

He is by far the best doctor ever. Love how he is fearless (in a way) and never fails to see the bright side of things. Equipped with his famous sonic screwdriver, the tenth doctor is ready for any situation. His companions- Rose Tyler, Donna Noble and many more, add excitement and action to the show. In my opinion, the hilarious, genius sort of tenth doctor ha s the most entertaining personality and appearance in Doctor Who history. Apart from fighting against villains (who obviously stand no chance against the Doctor), there is also a romantic kind of edge to the show. The tenth doctor is unbeatable- with his brilliant mind and witty quick thinking, the tenth doctor certainly deserves to be first in this list.

The Tenth Doctor is played by David Tennant, one of the best actors out there. So how in the world is it that he didn't get a good grasp on the character? Mostly the writers, really. He had some great episodes, but each one seemed to write him as an entirely different character. They aren't solely to blame, of course, as Tennant wasn't able to really own that alien aspect of the Doctor like Pertwee, Tom Baker, Eccleston, Matt Smith, or Capaldi were able to.Perhaps if Moffat wrote more for the Tenth Doctor than Russel T. Davies, the outcome would have been different.

Ten, David Tennant, was the first Doctor I really saw (with some bits of Nine before that). He can be cheerful and brilliant sometimes, and suprisingly dark other times. When I think of the Doctor, Ten (and Eleven) are the ones I think of. I would have liked to see more of him. He really did the mysterious alien, much older than he looks thing very well. I really saw an old, mysterious, brilliant, alien creature with a young human face in him. David Tennant is definitely my favourite Doctor.

His personality is like a bottomless pit. He is so entertaining, I couldn't watch too much of his episodes. He is the perfect balance of emotion and logic, and Time Lord and human. Sometimes he's very relatable, and other times he's so insanely Time Lord. He immediately gained my respect and favoritism, but I can't emphasize it enough that this Doctor was someone special.

I love David Tennant as an actor, but the Tenth Doctor was... He had vanity issues, he mistreated both Martha and Harriet Jones, he was too soppy with Rose. He's my third favourite Doctor, but only because of the wonderful acting the PERSON David Tennant put into him, not he DOCTOR. I much prefer Moffat's era to RTD's and that's one of the things that puts Matt advantaged ahead of David. The writing.

" I may have begun watching with Christopher Eccleston in but I always felt that David Tennant just made the role his own! All hail David Tennant, the first Scottish doctor!
